Turmeric I love you!

Anyone who knows me personally knows that i've been dealing with neck and back pain for a long time now, ever since a certain friend who shall remain nameless drove her car into a pothole with me in the passenger seat and then moved to Boston without properly completing the friend-loyalty process of supporting my recovery. But hey, i hold no grudges because i have Turmeric! Ok, i'm not gonna lie, it's not going to solve all your problems and it really depends on what kind of pain you're in but it's a natural painkiller and anti-inflammatory (without those secret intestine-damaging side effects of over-the-counter drugs) I like to just sprinkle a little on my salads or stir-fries, cook it with curry, or just mix a little in a glass of water and gulp it down.
Also, your liver will thank you because turmeric has detoxing properties and it might even perk you up if you're feeling blue (it's been used in chinese medicine to treat depression), PLUS it's pretty good for your skin too because it helps to heal damaged skin cells, AND it helps to metabolize fat! oh, and if you cut your finger, throw a little turmeric on that too, it has antibacterial and disinfecting power, there's nothing this amazing herb can't do!
